Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, the Chairperson of National Assembly of Nepal, was on his first official Australia visit in November. His team, including speakers and deputy-speakers from seven provinces of Nepal were in Australia as part of the Parliament Support Program by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with the agenda of exchanging their experience and views on the parliamentary functions of both countries. Community leaders and members share their views on how such federal visits can help the Nepali diaspora in Australia.
