Udhauli is an annual festival celebrated by the indigenous Kirat communities of Nepal, marking their migration to lower-elevation regions as the winter season sets in. This year, Udhauli Parva was observed on December 15. To explore the festival's significance and its deep connection to nature, Sunuwar culture expert and activist Shobha Sunuwar shared her insights with SBS Nepali.
