Dr Josh Tobin is a medical practitioner, aspiring anaesthetist and teacher of Indigenous health at Macquarie University.
With experience working in ICU and critical care, specialist burns units, and emergency anaesthetics, Dr Tobin has a wealth of knowledge to share with students.
But his first lessons are always about understanding culture.

Understanding how culture, health and the medical system interact means that students gain important knowledge before heading into their placements and the workforce.
I'm incredibly proud that I can teach and share knowledge, which we've been doing for generations and generations. That I can continue that is huge for me, and so rewarding.Dr Josh Tobin
