Sarah Prestwidge will star as the majestic Parrwang as Victorian Opera again presents 'Parrwang Lifts the Sky'


Acclaimed First Nations soprano and proud Darug woman, Sarah Prestwidge has risen to international acclaim throughout her career, having starred in many productions over the years, which has seen her make the move to the UK to continue to pursue dreams.

Sarah is also passionate about being a mentor and role model to other First Nations people who have a dream to be an opera singer, with the work she does with Short Black Opera.

Sarah is currently back in Australia for the much anticipated opera Parrwang Lifts the Sky, a stunning Wadawurring Country creation story, which she stars as the majestic Parrwang, with shows from 10-18 May at Malthouse Theatre in Naarm.
