Kindred, a feature length documentary written and directed by Gillian Moody and Adrian Russell Wills exploring their own personal journeys reconnecting their bloodlines.


Gill and Adrian are two best friends, bonded by their shared lived experience, both adopted by white families and have connected back with their bloodline families.

Kindred is a powerful and moving film documenting their journey, weaving together their personal stories and exploring the themes of family, identity, culture, racism, belonging and love.

In conversation with NITV Radio, Gill and Adrian talk about their special relationship supporting each other throughout this journey to tell their story and the making of such a personal film.
