Federal Labor's new leader Anthony Albanese [[AL-buh-NEEZ-ee]] says he'll be an opposition leader who holds the government to account, but won't seek out conflict. No other Labor M-P stood against Mr Albanese for the leadership. Anthony Albanese was elected as the Member for Grayndler in Sydney’s inner west in 1996, having lived in the area his entire life.
