"They invaded our house at late night. We have everything recorded on our CCTV," said Mr Bedi.
"They didn’t cover their faces. May be they were not aware that CCTV was in place!
“They made it look so easy... stole the keys of car and then ran away with the stolen vehicle.
"We informed Police who are investigating the incidence.
“After looking at the CCTV footage, Police officer told that they may know the culprits. May be the offenders are routinely involved in these type of incidences.
“Next day Police informed that two young men have been caught but the car is burnt to ashes in the nearby bush area.
“Even I went to check my car, which I found dumped in the Lake Woodcroft Reserve near Woodcroft Drive. This place is about 1.5km away from our residence.
"We're planning to sell this car for an upgrade. To our bad luck, the insurance expired recently.
"It's a sad moment. We purchased it with our hard earned money and now there is nothing left but ashes.
“I am aware that juvenile offenders take advantage of soft laws. I wish there're more strict punishments especially for the culprits who are repeatedly doing these sorts of crimes," said Mr Bedi.
SBS Punjabi has contacted Blacktown Police who confirmed the arrest of two young men in relation to this incidence.
