Police are investigating following an assault of a taxi driver on Tuesday, 28 November in Frankston.
It was reported that the driver attended an address on Cranbourne Road to pick up a fare, where he was met by two unknown men about 11.30pm.
When asked to pay the fee, an altercation has occurred that resulted in the males assaulting the driver, Police said.
It is believed one of the men has then pulled the taxi’s security camera from the windscreen and also stolen a quantity of cash from the driver.
The two men then exited the taxi.
As the driver began to drive away, one of the males reportedly kicked the rear of the taxi causing wilful damage.
Investigators have released images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
