The song received 2.32 lakh views before it was removed from the online platform. Meanwhile, Sidhu Moosewala's parents have supported her venture saying she has spoken the truth and demanded justice for their family.

The Punjab Opposition Congress (POC) has alleged that the current government was behind the removal of Jenny Johal's song "Letter to the CM", criticizing the government's functioning.
