According to the latest data from California's Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, these fires have already claimed 24 lives. The Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst fires alone have burned approximately 16,000 hectares of land. Last week, the U.S. National Weather Service stated that a lack of rain, low humidity, and dry vegetation have worsened the situation.
