The Jubilee. One act Radio Play

In 1995 in Melbourne Lev Koltynyuk created a theatrical studio. Before coming to Australia he worked in the theatre in Odessa. His energy attracted to the studio many amateur and professional actors of different ages from many different cities of the former USSR. Irena Veksler, the head of in Russian radio SBS at that time decided to produce a number of radio play performed by the actors of the studio, and Anton Chekhov's The Jubilee , also known in English as The Anniversary became the third work in this collaboration in 1999.

The Anniversary  is a hilarious play about a banker who is  preparing to meet some respected shareholders for the bank’s 15^th anniversary celebrations

Principle characters:

 Andrei Shipuchin, a hardworking banker who also has a soft corner for women - Mark Skosyrev

 Tatiana Alekseyevna, the banker’s wife, a naive and rather innocent women who is also a chatterbox - Faina Shersher

Mr.Kirin, the old book keeper, the brilliant but short tempered accountant on whom the banker totally depend for preparing an impressive report for the bank - Lev Goldberg
