Sharadha Nayak, author of “The Raj Agent in Ceylon 1936 – 1940” has had a long and distinguished career in international education. Her father, Mr A. V. Pai was an official in the British Indian administrative and was tasked with ensuring the of the health, education and the living conditions of plantation workers in Ceylon met at least the basic standards.


Sharadha Nayak talks to Kulasegaram Sanchayan about her book, reflects on her father’s role, and shares her wisdom on growing old.
