Labor returned to power after 12 years but challenges ahead

New South Wales Premier-elect Chris Minns says a grassroots campaign - and a connection with voters on key issues – are the reasons for the Labor party's success in the state election. After 12 years in opposition, New South Wales has returned to power. Chris Minns will be the 47th premier of NSW after there were big swings to Labor in the NSW election. Mr Senthil Chidambaranathan analyses the election outcome and the challenges ahead for the Labor government.


Mr Senthil Chidambaranathan, with over 29 years of experience in the corporate world. Senthil is an accomplished community leader and the first Tamilian to be elected as a Councilor in South Australia.
