In the Supreme Court of Victoria on 11.11.2022, Justice Elizabeth Hollingworth sentenced Hayes, 48, to 13 years’ jail with a non-parole period of eight years. Hayes, who pleaded guilty to three counts of arson causing death, has already served almost two years of her prison term, and with time served, she could be out by 2028. Renuka brings the story.
