Melbourne to Canberra walk: 22 Women Asylum Seekers Set to Finish Tomorrow

Twenty-two women are walking more than 600 kilometres from Melbourne to Canberra to push for permanent protection visas for all asylum seekers living in limbo in Australia.These women, originating from Sri Lanka and Iran, began their walk on September 22 and are scheduled to complete their journey tomorrow(18 Oct 2023). Sathyadevi Kaalirasa, one of the participants, shares an update with Renuka Thuraisingham.
