“Beneath the Australian Sun”: 120 Years of Dmytro Nytchenko

Dmytro Nytchenko (1905-1999), widely known by his literary pseudonym, Dmytro Chub, was a leading writer, poet, journalist, educator and organiser of Ukrainian literary activity in Australia. This event, which reflects on his life and works, is organised by Nataliya Poshyvaylo-Towler and the Malvy Literary Club. Speakers will include members of Dmytro Nytchenko’s family and admirers of his work in Ukraine. Emeritus Professor Marko Pavlyshyn will deliver a presentation on Nytchenko as a writer and cultural activist.
The event will be held in Ukrainian.
