"We need to invest in our people who are that the bottom. Only then we will witness the real change.

Talking about the economic issues being faced by the country, Mr Khan said that Pakistan is facing many economic challenges and they need to be dealt immediately.
"Our main asset is Overseas Pakistani"
"I will improve the tax culture. I will personally look after people's money in taxes.

That is my pledge. I will make sure that FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) is reformed."

"If there is someone that needs peace, it is Pakistan.

Our neighbour China, we will be improving our relations. They have started the CPEC project, which helps in getting more investment.

We will work with China to reduce poverty. They reduced poverty in their country and we have to learn from them.

They took care of major corruption in different sectors. We need to learn from them in this area too."

Talking about the relationship with Afghanistan he said, "Afghans have suffered the most in this region. If there is peace in Afghanistan, there will be peace in Pakistan.

I even would like to see open borders with Afghanistan just like there is in some European countries."

He also talked about the relationship with United States and other regional states.

"I would like to see mutual relationship with US. So far, there has been a one-way relationship. We would like to have a balanced relationship with them.

Iran is our neighbour. We would like to improve relationship with them. Similarly, Saudi Arabia is a long time friend.

We can serve as an intermediary in Middle East too."

Mr Khan said that we have to engage with India for a prosperous region.

"Regarding India, I was saddened by Indian media as they portrayed me as a bollywood villian.

I am one of those Pakistanis who know a lot of Indians because of Cricket. If we want to make a difference in this region we need to engage to reduce poverty and improve trade.

Our main issue is about Kashmir. There has been human rights violations there; Kashmiris have suffered a lot.

Leaders from both countries should sit on the table and find a solution. Currently, we are at square one.

If the Indian leadership is ready, we are ready.

We should have friendly relations and engage through dialogue."
