ANZAC Day is celebrated in Australia and New Zealand on 25 April yearly. It is a day to remember the soldiers who fought at the Battle of Gallipoli during the First World War, and to pay tribute to all Australian and New Zealand soldiers who have served in various wars and peacekeeping missions.
ANZAC stands for the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. On this day, a memorial service is held at dawn.
