He may not remember coming here but Australian fans want Justin Bieber back.

#JUSTINCOMETOAUSTRALIA is the second highest trending hash tag on Twitter this morning as fans try to get the troubled pop star to return Down Under.

Bieber, 20, is currently in Tokyo for the Easter weekend with his mother Pattie Mallette.

Shortly after arriving in Japan, Bieber tweeted: "Where am I?"

Fans quickly tracked him to Tokyo then, realising how close he was, began begging him to come back to Australia.

Amelia Raven tweeted: "Please @justinbieber come back for us beliebers. Go to every capital."

While another Aussie fan with the Twitter username AussieBelieber tweeted: "I could not sleep at all last night I had so many butterflies bc justin is in a timezones an hour away and I just #JUSTINCOMETOAUSTRALIA"

But not everyone using the hashtag wanted Bieber back.

"Why is #JUSTINCOMETOAUSTRALIA even trending, he's a selfish prick that really doesn't deserve his fame, I feel like he as no talent," Tanisha Paige writes.

Bieber visited Australia during November and December last year, performing to thousands of fans. The tour also landed him in trouble for spray painting the walls of the QT Hotel in Surfers Paradise.

He also visited Australia in 2011 and 2012.

But clearly he doesn't remember any of it. In a deposition hearing in March for a lawsuit which claims Bieber instructed his bodyguards to confront a photographer who was assaulted, the pop star was asked if he had ever been to Australia. He shrugged and replied:"I don't know if I've been to Australia. Have I been to Australia?"
