Prime Minister Scott Morrison says a diplomatic row between Australia and Turkey has eased after the president's office claimed he was taken out of context.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan used a political rally to warn Australians with anti-Muslim views would be sent home in coffins like their grandfathers, with Mr Morrison labelling the comments "highly offensive".
"Overnight, progress has been made on this issue and overnight we've already seen a moderation of the president's views," the prime minister told reporters in Melbourne on Thursday.
