Canberra's famous flower festival Floriade has reopened after being shut down for two days due to heavy rain.

Organisers confirmed on Saturday the festival would reopen for the weekend, with ticket holders for the past two days able to exchange them for future days.

"The flowers are in full bloom, despite the rainy days Canberra has recently seen," the organisers said.
