Former Palmer United Party senator Jacqui Lambie has applied to register the as a political party.
Notices of her application are reportedly appearing in Tasmanian newspapers.
Electors have until April 30 to lodge objections to the registration, the Australian Electoral Commission said.
"While there’s a big job in front of the political network I will lead and promote – there will be a number of core beliefs that will bring supporters of the Jacqui Lambie Network together," said Senator Lambie in a statement.
Some of these 'core beliefs' included opposing "Sharia Law being imposed in Australia either formally or informally", supporting "the proper regulation of Halal and other food certification systems" and pushing for "."
Senator Lambie in November 2014, after a series of bitter and public slanging matches with her leader Clive Palmer.
