A monster snake has stopped Queensland police officers in their tracks.
The scrub python, which can grow up to seven metres long, was spotted by officers as they drove through the Wujul Wujul region, about 345km north of Cairns.
"We don't do boring. You never really know what you are going to come across in a single shift," a spokesperson for the Queensland Police Service wrote on social media.
