Great Scott! Mike Baird has done it again.
The NSW Premier has seen the future of NSW and it's 'fantastic' - or so he declared in his spoof video for Back To The Future Day.
Baird took to Twitter and Facebook to flex his acting muscle with a video of him rocking up in a DeLorean - sadly, not a flying model - and announcing: "I've just seen the future for NSW. It's fantastic."
Today, of course, is the day Marty McFly and Doc Emmet Brown arrive in a time-travelling DeLorean - at least in the 1985 film 'Back To The Future Part II', if not in reality.
While fans of the 'Future' trilogy are still waiting for hoverboards, flying cars and self-drying clothes to arrive, Baird delivered the comedic relief.
And then came the critics.
Not to be out-done, Queensland Police upped the Back To The Future game with hoverboards.
We wonder what Margaret Pomeranz and David Stratton think of Baird's performance. Because in 1985 they didn't hold back in their review of the 'Back To The Future' sequel.
But the Chicago Cubs could still win the World Series.
