2003: GAP YEAR ANTICS
* Prince Harry was 19 when he came to Australia for three months as part of an educational gap year.
* He worked with cattle at Tooloombilla station in southern Queensland, which was owned at the time by the late Princess Diana's friend Annie Hill and her husband Noel.
2013: REAL BUSINESS
* This trip marked the popular royal's first official Australian tour.
* During the two-day visit to Perth and Sydney, he represented the Queen at the International Fleet Review and visited the SAS headquarters in Perth.
* The Fleet Review marked 100 years since the Royal Australian Navy fleet sailed into Sydney Harbour.
* He met with then-prime minister Tony Abbott and his family for a party at Kirribilli House.
2015: REPORTING FOR DUTY
* Harry arrived in Australia for a month-long army secondment. It cost approximately $115,000.
* He was winding up his 10 years with the British Army by spending a month on attachment with Aussie troops in Perth and Darwin.
* During the trip he paid tribute to diggers who served in Afghanistan, trained with special forces and patrolled with Aboriginal soldiers.
* He also surprised the residents of a small Aboriginal outback town by rocking up unannounced in military uniform.
2017: INVICTUS GAMES PREPARATION
* Harry flew into Sydney for a whirlwind visit to cast his eye over preparations for the 2018 Games.
* He caught up with organisers and plenty of Aussie veterans hoping to compete at the Games.
2018: INVICTUS GAMES WITH MEGHAN MARKLE
* Following his marriage to former actress Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to make their first official trip to Sydney for the week-long Invictus Games.
* Their visit is part of the couple's first major overseas tour that also includes visits to New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.
