An Indigenous South Australian Senate candidate has been targeted by racist vandalism.
A corflute for Greens candidate Major 'Moogy' Sumner in Port Adelaide was
NITV broke the story on Tuesday, and on Wednesday Mr Sumner, a Ngarrindjeri elder who ran in the seat of Mayo at last year's by-election, said he refused to be deterred by the incident.
"It is disappointing to see this crop up in our community, but it won't stop me from standing up for what I believe in," he said.

"Here I am, you're not going to scare me away."
Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young condemned the racism as unacceptable and said Mr Sumner was respected by people on all sides of politics.
"We need first Australians in our parliament and they need to be able to participate without these kinds of attacks," she said.
"Moogy is a beloved and respected leader in our state.
