News Corporation media mogul Rupert Murdoch has announced his engagement to Jerry Hall, who had a 20-year relationship with Mick Jagger before splitting in 1999.
Murdoch, 84, announced the engagement in the births, deaths, and marriages section of his Times newspaper.
Hall will be Murdoch’s fourth wife, following his divorce from his third wife Wendi Deng in 2013.
Supermodel Hall and Rolling Stones frontman Jagger had four children together - Elizabeth Scarlett, James Leroy, Georgia May, and Gabriel Luke.
Hall and Murdoch had been dating for around four months prior to the engagement, their first public outing was at the Rugby World Cup in London in October 2015.
Hall has served as an enigmatic muse for a number of musicians, and is consider one of the world’s first supermodels.
Here are five things you might not know about the 59-year-old Texan.
1. Jagger was not her first rockstar beau
Hall was engaged to Bryan Ferry and was in a number of his film clips, including ‘Let’s Stick Together’, when she met Jagger at a dinner party in New York.
She would go on to leave Ferry for Jagger, and Jagger’s then-wife Bianca divorced him over the affair.
2. Her daughter brought the ‘gap-tooth’ look back into fashion
Hall’s daughter Georgia May Jagger is a supermodel in her own right, the 23-year-old has been professionally modeling since she was a teenager.
The distinctive gap in her front teeth has made her iconic, and reignited the trend (made famous in the 1970s by Lauren Hutton) amongst model scouts, leading girls with similar smiles to land major campaigns in recent years.
Older sister Elizabeth, 31, has also modelled, including recently in a 2015 campaign for label Reserved where she appeared alongside her mother and younger sister.
3. She has a twin named Terry
Hall has a non-identical twin sister named Terry, who she grew up with along their other three sisters on a farm in Dallas.
Hall says their unusual rhyming names were chosen because her father wanted boys, so called them Jerry and Terry.
4. She’s an accomplished actress
Hall took up acting following her modeling career, famously starring as Mrs Robinson on Broadway, which featured a nude scene.
She also appeared in Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman film and on the British dance show, Strictly Come Dancing.
Her production of The Graduate will tour Sydney, Australia in late 2016.
5. She had a very famous roommate

The pair partied and modeled together, and took part in Parisian cabaret shows before Jones quit modeling to pursue her singing career.
Hall and Murdoch are yet to set a wedding date.
