Indonesia's Bandung Zoo has been slammed after footage of a smoking orangutan emerged.
In the video, the orangutan can be seen expertly puffing away in its enclosure after a young man flicked the half-smoked cigarette into the primate’s vicinity.
Indonesia Animal Welfare Society's founder Marison Guciano filmed the video and blamed the zoo staff’s lack of supervision for the incident.

Mr Guciano said the zoo needs to better educate visitors and provide more supervision to stop further incidents of animal cruelty.
"Almost all zoos are in poor condition... from the cages and feeding needs to the animals' health," he said.
A zoo spokesperson said visitors are warned not to feed or give cigarettes to the animals, according to the BBC.
“There’s actually a sign at the location which says visitors are not allowed to give food or cigarettes to animals,” spokesperson Sulhan said.
Bandang Zoo was closed temporarily in 2016 after a Sumatran elephant died and was found with bruises on its body, the BBC reported.
The Indonesian zoo is located about 120 kilometres southwest of the country's capital, Jakarta.
