A week after twin brother Max returned from a knee reconstruction, Gold Coast key position player Ben King will make his AFL debut.

The No.6 pick in last November's draft and Port Adelaide defender Joel Garner will play their first senior games on Sunday at Adelaide Oval.

The Suns' King can play at either end of the ground and was taken two picks below Max in the draft.

Max returned through the VFL last week and it is unclear when he will make his AFL debut.

The Power recruited Garner with pick No.60 in the 2017 draft.

They are among seven changes for the match, with Gold Coast also recalling Jesse Joyce and Brayden Fiorini for injured trio Pearce Hanley, Touk Miller and Sean Lemmens.

Port brought back Zak Butters, Joe Atley and Billy Frampton for Ryan Burton (hamstring), Willem Drew, Aidyn Johnson and Todd Marshall.

Injury-plagued veteran Brett Deledio, fellow All-Australian Lachie Whitfield, ruckman Shane Mumford and Harry Perryman will return for GWS in Sunday's match against Carlton at Giants Stadium.

Deledio has been out of action since round two with another calf injury.

In his three years at GWS, he has only managed 20 games.

The Giants lost Stephen Coniglio (finger) and Zac Langdon (foot) as Matt Buntine and Dawson Simpson were dropped.

Harrison Macreadie and Nic Newman are back for Carlton, who lost Lachie Plowman (cheek) and Tom Williamson (back).

Hawthorn made no changes for Sunday's match against Richmond at the MCG, meaning Jarryd Roughead will play in the VFL again.

Tigers ruckman Ivan Soldo will replace Toby Nankervis (adductor) and Nick Vlastuin comes in for Jack Ross (ankle).
