Taylor Swift subtly calls out Kanye West in Grammys acceptance speech

While the mega-selling singer was accepting her for album of the year for '1989', Swift took a second to send a message to the young women watching, and took a subtle jab at Yeezy.

"I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame," she said on stage.
"But if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you'll release it was you."

Swift was likely referring to a song West released earlier this week, titled 'Famous'.
In it, he raps, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous."

Earlier in the week, Swift's rep issued a statement saying that West did not ask Swift permission to use the controversial line in the track, and claimed that Swift advised against releasing a song with such a "strong misogynistic message."

West, however, disputed those claims, tweeting that Swift indeed gave him her blessing and that she thought the line was "funny."

West famously interrupted Swift in 2009 during the MTV Video Music Awards.

The two, however, seemed like they had made up at last year's Grammys.
