Incoming university students will be required to complete and pass a module that uses stick figures to illustrate sexual consent as part of their entry to universities across Australia, including the University of Sydney and University of South Australia.
The Sydney university's website says Epigeum's Consent Matters online education module , developed by academics in the UK and Australia, is designed to help students understand sexual consent.
"All commencing students need to complete the module," the University of Sydney website says, while media reports UniSA, Flinders and Adelaide university students also will be encouraged to complete the course.
