The Queensland seat of Lilley was taken off the Australian Electoral Commission's close seats list on Tuesday, with Labor's Anika Wells 955 votes ahead of the Liberals' Brad Carswell.
Liberal candidate for the NSW seat of Macquarie, Sarah Richards, is just 40 votes ahead of Labor incumbent Susan Templeman.
If the margin of votes between the first and second candidates is less than 100 votes after preferences are distributed, a full recount is conducted.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison's coalition team is leading in 78 seats, with Labor ahead in 67, with six crossbenchers set to win seats.
The results in two seats were formally declared on Tuesday, with more to be finalised in coming days.
The Labor-held seat of Blaxland in NSW went to incumbent Jason Clare, who was returned with a 15 per cent margin.
Liberal MP Alex Hawke was returned in the NSW seat of Mitchell, with a margin of 19 per cent.
