What's in Curtis Pitt's third Qld budget?

Queensland Treasurer Curtis Pitt has handed down the Palaszczuk government's third state budget.

THE PALASZCZUK GOVERNMENT'S THIRD STATE BUDGET AT A GLANCE:

* $146 million surplus

* $1.95 billion in additional funding for the Cross River Rail Project

* $770m towards reducing household electricity prices

* $1.3b increase in health spending

* $500m in additional funding towards inner-Brisbane schools

* Extra $142m in child safety funding

* $20,000 first home owners grant extended to December 2017

* Additional $200m to expand Works for Queensland Program

* $70m to establish specialist domestic violence courts in Townsville and Beenleigh

* 1.5 per cent land tax increase for foreign owners.
