Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced a $200 million package to boost women's sports.

The program includes access to grant funding for facilities and equipment for all women's sports.

Advocacy group Women Onside has been pushing for greater female representation at all levels of football, but especially at the governance and board level.

Chairperson Kerry Harris spoke to Biwa Kwan about the package and whether it will be enough to respond to what Football Australia anticipates will be a 20 per cent increase in female football participation after the Women's World Cup.
