Interview: New "geopolitical era" brings Finland and Australia closer

In April 2023, Finland joined the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. The Nordic nation's top diplomat in Canberra says the new 'geopolitical era' - following Russia's invasion of Ukraine - now requires the country to strengthen ties with like minded partners, like Australia.
