'People here are in despair': One doctor's experience at a hospital in Gaza

Dr David Hassan is a neurosurgeon from North Carolina in the United States who has just returned from an international aid mission to Gaza. While he was there, he collected his thoughts in a daily diary, which has been published by his wife online.
