Young Australians are taking to TikTok to slam Prime Minister Scott Morrison for his decision to holiday in Hawaii while Australia burns - and they're not holding back.

Mr Morrison has faced strong criticism for taking a family holiday during an escalating bushfire crisis, which has .

, and has issued a statement expressing regret for "any offence caused to any of the many Australians affected by the terrible bushfires by my taking leave with family at this time".
Public frustration with the Prime Minister has not abated, with Australians taking to social media to express their anger.
