2025 Federal Budget Forecast: A decade of deficits amid new savings plan

The federal government has announced new budget savings as it prepares to hand down an economic blueprint that foreshadows a decade of deficits. Labor has already made major spending promises on Medicare, infrastructure, housing and announced direct relief on the rising cost of power bills.
