Albanese’s Anzac speech calls for people to 'step up' support for returned veterans

During his Anzac Day speech, Anthony Albanese acknowledged the ongoing trauma experienced by veterans after returning from war, saying, "We owe them something more than just gratitude. Just as they stepped up for us, we must step up for them".
