Annual inflation falls to lowest level in over three years: what does it mean for interest rates?

Inflation has fallen to its lowest level since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, a sign that cost of living pressures are starting to ease. Treasurer Jim Chalmers has welcomed the numbers, saying the Australian economy is on track for a 'soft landing'.
