Anthony Albanese to press Indonesia on proposed early prison release for Bali bomb maker

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says the federal government will raise concerns with Indonesia after one of the 2002 Bali bombers was given the green light to walk free from prison within days. Umar Patek, said to be the bomb maker, was sentenced to 20 years behind bars in 2012 for his role in the double suicide bombings in Bali’s Kuta district, killing 202 people including 88 Australians.
