Antisemitism Envoy: Weekly Gaza protests are 'harassment and intimidation' of Jewish community

The Australian government's Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism Jillian Segal is calling for a tougher response to crack down on incidents targeting Jewish Australians, saying there has been a concerning rise in antisemitism in the last year. She also addressed the pro-Palestinian protest movement in cities and university campuses, calling for them to be restricted to certain times and places so as not to intimidate the Jewish community. She sat down with SBS World News reporter Claudia Farhart. (Interview recorded and broadcast in December 2024)
