Australia backs UN proposal recognising Palestinians' sovereignty over natural resources

Australia has backed a United Nations resolution recognising Palestinians’ permanent sovereignty over natural resources in the occupied Palestinian territories. Pro-Palestinian groups say it is a significant shift towards recognition of statehood, but it’s angered Australian-Jewish representatives
