Australia NZ ties strengthened as PM Albanese wraps up trip

The Prime Minister will meet with the US Secretary of State in Brisbane, fresh off a state visit to New Zealand where the leaders agreed to deepen economic ties and defence cooperation. The visit is timely for New Zealand's prime minister Chris Hipkins, who is facing a tough contest to hold on to power.
