South Australia’s Australian of the year Tim Jarvis retraced the steps of the Antarctic explorers Douglas Mawson and Ernest Shackleton. Now, he’s applying lessons from the expeditions to find solutions to a warming world. Also being honoured for her conservation work- the state’s nominee for the national youth award, Torres Strait Islander and Kaurareg Nation woman Tiahni Adamson.
