Australian security talks in PNG

Papua New Guinea is at the centre of an international tussle for dominance and influence in the Pacific, holding firm on its commitment to make Australia its primary security partner. Australia has sent a delegation of its most senior cabinet ministers, as well as the chief of Defence and head of the Australian Federal Police, to Port Moresby in a show of support for its closest neighbour.
