Australia's per capita COVID-19 rate among the highest in the world

The latest international data suggests COVID-19 cases and deaths in Australia are among the highest in the world on a per capita basis. Epidemiologists suggest a number of factors are responsible, including lagging vaccine rates and non-compliance with mask mandates.
