Bowel cancer rates in young people are on the rise

Bowel cancer has long been considered a disease for older people, but research shows bowel cancer rates in young people are rising. For these patients, the disease is often detected at a late stage. Experts are urging people to learn their family history and to act on any potential symptoms.
