Crossbench MPs call for a pathway for asylum seekers stuck in visa limbo

Crossbench MPs have joined calls for a permanent residency pathway for 8,500 asylum seekers living in visa limbo. The open letter follows the death of a 23-year-old Tamil man in Melbourne, who took his own life after campaigning for change.
