Defence chief admits blame for Fiji job debacle

The Chief of the Australian Defence Force has conceded he was not aware a Fijian military officer given a senior Australian army role faced accusations of human rights abuses and torture. General Angus Campbell has told Senate estimates he takes responibility for the appointment and the process was flawed.
